This will be discussed with the council’s planning team. We will provide a report that demonstrates the various costs involved in building the homes and the likely revenues – this is called a Viability Report. This will be carefully analysed by the council’s own consultants. The nature of co-living arrangements means that, in all likelihood, the developer will make a financial contribution for the provision of affordable homes elsewhere.
